All Saint's Baptist Church, a Haitian congregation of 450, meets in Providenciales, a city in Turks and Caicos Islands. The Atlantic chain, a British territory, is southeast of the Bahamas and north of Haiti-and only about twice the size in total area of Washington, D.C. About 25,000 Haitians have immigrated to the islands to escape poverty and to find work. All Saint's is 24 years old but is just completing construction on its first dedicated building after outgrowing a retrofitted home next door, said pastor James Prosper.
