Feel like a girl? Use the girls' room in Massachusetts schools
“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?” (Jeremiah 17:9)
Whenever I read or hear someone refer to a male transvestite, transsexual, transgender person, or whatever they call themselves as “she,” I cringe. Even if the man has had his sexual organs sliced off and he’s growing breasts, he is and always will be a biological male. How he feels about it doesn’t change facts.
I don’t know about you, but I refuse to prostrate myself to political correctness and call a man “she” because he wants to be a woman. I will never, in my personal or professional life, call a man “she” or a woman “he.”
I was dismayed when I read an article on ChristianNews.net about a policy created by the Massachusetts Commissioner of Education that recommends allowing boys who want to pretend to be girls to use girls’ restrooms and locker rooms. Although the policy works the other way, too, let’s face it, allowing boys into girls’ private areas is worse. Biological differences, also known as reality, strike again!
The commission also directs the adults to go along with a child who wants to pretend to be of the opposite sex and call the child by whatever name he/she has chosen and refer to him as “her” and her as “him.” An excerpt of Nondiscrimination on the Basis of Gender Identity (download the 11-page PDF):
“Some students may feel uncomfortable with a transgender student using the same sex-segregated restroom, locker room or changing facility. This discomfort is not a reason to deny access to the transgender student. School administrators and counseling staff should work with students to address the discomfort and to foster understanding of gender identity, to create a school culture that respects and values all students.”
File this as reason No. 2,000,001 to homeschool your children. Girls who might feel “uncomfortable” that a boy is using their bathroom, even if he considers himself a girl, just have to get over it. To get around this problem, the school district recommends creating “gender-neutral” restrooms and changing areas. So, in a perversion of God’s design of two sexes, rebellious man has created a sort of third sex.
How any parent would allow this is beyond me. I consider it child abuse to aid and abet a child’s immoral behavior and support a child’s self-deceit, confusion, and destruction. Children are society’s weakest and most vulnerable members. They require love, care, guidance, and protection of adults. As if children don’t have enough to deal with as they learn and develop and grow. There are such things as normal and abnormal, healthy and unhealthy, godly and ungodly. If they choose the abnormal, unhealthy, and ungodly route once they’re adults, that’s a different, although unfortunate, matter.
If unrepentant adults want to wallow in their perversity and absurdly demand that individuals and societies accept their perversions, they can wallow and demand all they like. But children, impressionable and easily influenced, shouldn’t be pawns in this twisted game.
