Does heaven look bushy?

If you're beyond your 30s and read a blog prophecy like this one, do you wish you were younger?

"We aren't going to stay helpless against aging tissues. … At some point in the 21st century we will reach actuarial escape velocity where the rate at which we can repair the body exceeds the rate at which pieces of the body wear out and fail. Our rejuvenated bodies will then go on for many more decades and eventually centuries. In a nutshell: If you are in your 30s or below I think your odds of dying of old age are remote."

I'm skeptical. I doubt that this is God's plan for human life, so I don't think medical innovators will pull it off. Besides, Christ may return within the century-and if He doesn't, I suspect we fallen and sinful human beings will bring on nuclear wars or in some other way mess up opportunities.

But if each person's life could go on for centuries, would that be good? Would you want it for yourself? How does faith in God and belief in heaven and hell in?uence answers?

The Bible teaches that life after death for those who believe in Christ will be better than lingering on this planet. But how strongly do Christians believe that? If one bird in the hand is better than two in the bush, and if we could have longer lives in our hands, does heaven look bushy?
