Largely emotionless throughout his six-month trial, Scott Peterson remained so when a jury decided he should die. Mr. Peterson was convicted Nov. 12 of murdering his wife Laci and their unborn son Conner. After recommending death on Dec. 13, jurors said his stony demeanor, even during wrenching testimony about his dead wife and son, swayed their decision.
