Celebrating death with chocolate
We don’t need more proof that mainstream media are in bed with the abortion industry. But here’s another example, just in case: Sarah Kliff, a former reporter for The Washington Post and now a senior editor at Vox, recently tweeted:
“Planned Parenthood sends a holiday gift to reproductive health reporters: Emergency Chocolate.”
Kliff, who covers health, medicine, and education for Vox, publicly bragged about receiving a gift from the baby-killing industry she covers. (And we all know the stereotype about women who see chocolate as a sinful treat/guilty pleasure.) This is the same reporter who called the Kermit Gosnell trial a “local crime story” as an excuse for failing to cover it the way she reported other abortion-related news. Gosnell was the abortionist who ran a dirty abortion business in Philadelphia and ended up murdering babies born alive. He’s serving life in prison.
No one really expects leftist media to be objective about abortion, religious liberty for Christians, or the Second Amendment, but do they have to be so blatant? Planned Parenthood even hands out “media excellence” awards to journalists every year. Aren’t the so-called journalists worried that their readers will consider this a conflict of interest, or even a bribe? Aren’t they concerned about undermining their integrity or being perceived as unprofessional? Imagine mainstream media’s reaction if the National Rifle Association appeared to bribe reporters. Unlike killing unborn babies, though, the right to keep and bear arms is in the U.S. Constitution.
Abortion-advocating chocolate lovers might be pleased to know that Planned Parenthood killed close to 324,000 voiceless and vulnerable human beings last year and received $553 million in government funds, according to its latest annual report.
“No one would bother attacking Planned Parenthood if we didn’t matter,” the report states. “Planned Parenthood’s resilient staff and clinicians are making a huge difference in the field of reproductive and sexual health care and in the cultural landscape at large.”
The report is correct. Planned Parenthood does matter. It kills a lot of babies and receives a lot of our tax money. In fact, the abortion mill seems to have the devil’s favor. Despite the scandals, it is still thriving and killing. But there is hope. Always.
The Apostle Paul speaks to the former unsaved through the ages:
“For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light.”
“He who is without sin …”: None of us can boast of being sinless. But the repentant are forgiven. One day, some of the people who kill babies might be our brothers and sisters in Christ, walking out of the darkness and into the light.
