It's about time for Dennis Rodman to make his way back into the limelight. This time, it might be on the court. The "Worm" hasn't seen any live NBA action since his brief stint with the Dallas Mavericks four years ago. Now, the Denver Nuggets might give him a shot. "We might bring him in for a day for a tryout," Denver GM Kiki Vandeweghe told the Denver Post. "We're just looking around. We've kind of kicked the idea around a little bit."

Most would admit that the Iraq national soccer team is facing less pressure these days as it prepares for the Asia Cup tournament. That's because the Saddam regime was very hands-on with its soccer program. "Before the war, if we lost a game, it was very difficult," Iraqi midfielder Ali Waheb Setet said. "We knew what would happen-we would be sent directly to jail after a very bad game."

Emmitt Smith's return to Texas Stadium couldn't have been worse. The NFL's all-time rushing leader lost a yard on six carries in Arizona's loss to Dallas on Oct. 5. Mr. Smith left the game in the second quarter after Dallas safety Roy Williams smacked the former Cowboy in the backfield. The hit broke Mr. Smith's shoulder blade and has forced him out of action for the foreseeable future.
