Are you on an ISIS hit list?

The FBI warns a Christian couple in Illinois

Have you, or someone you know, received a visit from an FBI agent conveying this information: You’re on an ISIS hit list?

We’ve heard rumors of such lists. A husband and wife who are WORLD members and live in Illinois called our office yesterday and said Jeremy Resar, a Chicago FBI agent, came to their house last Friday to let them know their names were on a published ISIS hit list.

I talked for an hour with the Illinois woman, who gave a credible account of agent Resar’s visit and its consequences. The woman did not know anything she or her husband had done to warrant such attention, and said Resar had told her the hit list includes mostly churchgoers. I called Resar, who confirmed he is an FBI agent working out of Chicago and said he could not talk about ongoing cases.

The WORLD member said this notice of danger has changed her life. She said it frightens her awake at 3 a.m. She wants to know how many people are on this list. She wants to learn self-defense and band with others. At WORLD, we’d like to know if others have had a similar FBI visit. You can email me, with assurance of confidentiality: mwasson93@gmail.com.

Worth emphasizing: So far in the United States, we know of no incidents related to ISIS hit lists. If those lists are real, they are part of a diabolical attempt to spread fear. One way to send cockroaches scurrying off is to turn on a light.
