A stunning game in the eyes of man and computer--but God's?

PredictionMachine.com ran 50,000 simulations after each play of last night’s Super Bowl to discern the probability of each team winning. According to computer prophecy, the Seattle Seahawks, up by 10 points with 11 minutes left in the game, had a 97 percent likelihood of winning. After scoring two touchdowns, the New England Patriots had a 97 percent probability of success with 2 minutes left.

Twists and turns continued. The Seahawks, after an astounding pass completion, had a 66 percent chance with 1:09 left. But 45 seconds later, after an even-more-surprising interception, the Patriots had a 100 percent change of winning, which they did.

None of which was surprising to God, whose ways regarding sports wins and losses are inscrutable, but if not even a sparrow falls to the ground apart from God’s will (Matthew 10:29), does a football? Just askin’.
