World leaders discuss continued support for Ukraine

Vice President Kamala Harris joined representatives from 95 other countries in Germany on Friday at the annual Munich Security Conference. The conference was founded in 1963 as an independent space for world leaders to discuss the world’s most pressing security issues. This year, for the first time in two decades, Russia was not invited.

How has Volodymyr Zelenskyy responded? The Ukrainian president told the conference that Russia was undermining freedom long before it invaded Ukraine a year ago. He says Russia illegally profited from efforts to corrupt political systems and international institutions while destabilizing social life and running disinformation campaigns.
