West Virginia ‘devastated’ by historic flooding
At least four people in West Virginia have died in what officials are calling the worst flooding in a century. Thousands of people were left without power Thursday after strong storms rolled in and continued to dump rain over the area throughout the day. Roads flooded due to high water, and the unexpected rushing currents washed at least one person away. On Friday morning, rescue crews had to evacuate about 500 people stranded at Crossings Mall in Elkview after a bridge washed out.
