Updated list: Aid to the needy in Iraq

This list includes U.S.- and British-based aid groups all with established work in Iraq who are assisting displaced families in the northern part of the country made homeless by this summer’s ISIS offensive. These groups are partnering with local churches and religious leaders to deliver relief aid, including tents and other shelter, food and hygiene kits, medicine, and other material (including, in some cases, Bibles). Many are working with Christians, Muslims, Yazidis, and other religious minorities, and more information is available on their websites. There are other groups likely, and suggestions for additions are welcome.
