Ukraine launches drone attack against Moscow

Russian forces on Sunday destroyed 32 Ukrainian drones inside Moscow’s airspace, the Russian Ministry of Defense said. The Kremlin’s troops managed to disable two more drones without destroying them. The attack damaged four buildings and injured two people across three different settlements in the city, the Kremlin said.

Did anything else happen? The Kremlin reported that Ukraine launched 50 other drones against civilian targets at other locations inside Russia. Air defenses destroyed all the drones and none of them struck their targets, the Kremlin said.

What does Ukraine have to say about this? Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Sunday said Russian forces earlier that day had launched 145 Iranian-made Shahed drones in just one attack against Ukraine. Over the past week, the Kremlin had launched more than 1,400 bombs, drones, or missiles at Ukraine, Zelenskyy said.
