House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., on Sunday said authorities were investigating a recent leak of classified documents that seemed to reveal Israel’s plans for how it would attack Iran. In an interview with CNN host Jake Tapper, Johnson called the leak very concerning. . The documents outlined Israeli Air Force exercises listed as preparations for an attack on Iranian targets.

Tehran attacked Israel with nearly 200 ballistic missiles earlier this month. Israel insisted that it would make its own decision about how to respond to that attack, and promised its attack would be lethal, precise, and surprising. But on Thursday, Israel’s promised element of surprise seemed to vanish when a pro-Iran channel on the social media app Telegram published classified documents it reportedly obtained from an anonymous—but allegedly informed—source.

What does Israel have to say about this? Israel’s prime minister and minister of defense have not publicly commented on the document leak.

What else is going on at the battlefield level for Israel?
