U.S. gymnasts dominate with a one-two punch
Simone Biles cemented her reputation as one of the greatest gymnasts ever by winning Olympic gold in the individual all-around competition Thursday. Teammate Aly Raisman took silver, redeeming her disappointment at the London Olympics four years ago, when she barely missed the podium in a tiebreaker for the bronze medal. Biles, who has won the last three world championships, finished ahead of Raisman by more than two points—the largest margin in the history of Olympic women’s gymnastics.
