Two dead in Louisiana college shooting

An altercation between students at a Louisiana university escalated into a shooting that left two dead and a suspect on the run. Police responded to the shooting at Grambling State University in Grambling, La., just after midnight Wednesday. Campus media relations director Will Sutton identified the victims as Earl Andrews, a 23-year-old senior from Farmville, La., and Monquiarius Caldwell, also 23 and from Farmerville but not enrolled at the school. Another Grambling State student was wounded last month in a separate shooting on the campus. The school, which has about 5,000 students, celebrates homecoming this week. No suspects have been named in either shooting.
