Suspect in Texas mass shooting still at large

Authorities have not yet found Francisco Oropeza, who is suspected of killing five people on Friday in Cleveland, Texas. Police have offered an $80,000 reward for information that could lead to Oropeza’s arrest.

What happened in the shooting on Friday? Police said Oropeza’s neighbors asked him to stop shooting guns in his yard so their small baby could sleep. He allegedly responded that he could do what he wanted on his property, then afterward marched into his neighbor’s house and opened fire before fleeing the scene. An 8-year-old boy was one of the victims. Five other people in the house were uninjured, including children who were found unharmed under the bodies of two women.
