Suicide bomber strikes government target in Kabul

A suicide bomber has killed at least seven people and wounded 15 others after detonating an explosive vest in Kabul. A police spokesman said Sunday that the attacker struck on foot outside a government facility. The death toll likely will rise, officials said. No one immediately claimed responsibility for the attack, but the Taliban and an Islamic State (ISIS) affiliate regularly strike government targets in the capital and elsewhere across the country. Last month a suicide bomber struck near the same building, killing 12 people and wounding 31 others.
