Russia arrests suspected terror recruiters
Russian authorities have arrested six people on suspicion of recruiting terrorists following a suicide bombing in St. Petersburg on Monday. Those arrested came from former Soviet republics in Central Asia, the Russian Investigative Committee said. It is not clear whether the suspects had any connection with the suicide bomber, identified as 22-year-old Akbardzhon Dhzlilov, a native of Kyrgyzstan. The predominantly Muslim Central Asian states have been a fertile recruiting ground for terrorists targeting Russia.
