Biden to meet with NATO leaders in Poland
President Joe Biden confirmed Friday he will visit Warsaw this month, just a day shy of the one-year anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. He will meet with Polish President Andrzej Duda and other NATO allies beginning Feb. 20. Officials believe Moscow is preparing to launch a renewed offensive in Ukraine this spring.
Have Russian attacks increased recently? Ukrainian forces reported Friday that at least 70 Russian missiles were launched beginning Thursday evening. Officials said power facilities across Ukraine were damaged, causing blackouts.
