Police seek car linked to killings of Muslims

Albuquerque police asked for the public’s help finding a dark gray or silver four-door Volkswagen, which Mayor Tim Keller said had a “very, very strong link” to the killings of four Muslim men over the last nine months. The latest of the four killings occurred Friday night. Deputy Commander Kyle Hartsock said that apart from the car, commonalities in the killings are the victims’ shared race and religion. Three of the four men were from Pakistan, while the first victim was from Afghanistan.

Who are the victims? An unknown assailant killed Mohammed Ahmadi, 62, last November. Police think the same person might have killed Muhammed Afzaal Hussain, 27, and Aftab Hussein, 41, in the past week. Naeem Hussain, 25, was found dead Friday.
