North Korea boasts of missile test

North Korea says it has tested its first intercontinental ballistic missile, but U.S. and South Korean officials dispute the claim. The U.S. Department of Defense said it detected a land-based, intermediate range missile launched from North Korea into the Sea of Japan early Tuesday. After the launch, President Donald Trump criticized North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on Twitter, saying, “Does this guy have anything better to do with his life?” Trump also urged China to pressure North Korea to stop working to develop a missile capable of reaching the United States.
