New York county bans males in female sports
New York’s Nassau County on Monday approved a resolution to prevent males from participating in women and girls sports. The law took effect immediately and prohibited public park property from hosting women’s and girls’ sports events where males were also participating. Women are still allowed to play in men’s sporting events held on public park property in the county.
How will it enforce this rule? The law requires that individuals seeking to play in women’s sporting events must have a birth certificate showing their biological sex as female. Only birth certificates marking an individual as female at or shortly after their birth will suffice. Birth certificates listing a male as female after the male modified them later in life will not suffice.
