Nate on track to hit Gulf Coast on Saturday night

Gulf Coast residents are bracing for fast-moving storm Nate, expected to make landfall Saturday night, possibly with Category 2 strength. The National Hurricane Center in Miami projected Nate would brush the southeast tip of Louisiana, near the mouth of the Mississippi River, around 7 p.m. Saturday. Officials declared states of emergency in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama and ordered residents of low-lying areas to evacuate.
