Pro-life group releases more videos from Va.

The pro-life group Live Action has released more undercover tapes of Virginia Planned Parenthood workers offering help to a man posing as a pimp seeking services for underage sex workers.

The videos, recorded in Falls Church, Charlottesville, and Roanoke, were posted last week. Live Action contends the tapes show Planned Parenthood staff turning a blind eye to sexual trafficking and exploitation of minors.

The videos are similar to footage released Feb. 3 of a Planned Parenthood employee at a Richmond center. In the Falls Church video, a staffer assures the "pimp" that Planned Parenthood will not check or record the immigration status of underage girls who come in for an abortion.

"We don't necessarily look at the legal status, like I said. Abortion appointments do require photo ID. It's nothing as far as records. It's just photo ID that's ever going to be required," the staffer said.

Planned Parenthood Federation of America Inc. released a statement last week saying the Virginia workers "reacted professionally to a highly unusual person posing as a patient" and alerted supervisors after the visits in January.

"It is utterly disgusting that Planned Parenthood's response to this is that their employee reacted 'professionally,'" said Live Action President Lila Rose. "The only acceptable response to encountering a self-identified sex-trafficker of underage girls is zero tolerance."

The News Virginian reported last Friday that David Nova, vice president of Planned Parenthood, said Charlottesville workers reported the suspicious man to Albemarle police after the incident. However, Albemarle police Sgt. Darrel Byers said the police did not have a report of the call.

Gov. Bob McDonnell was "deeply troubled" by the video and urged an investigation by local police, a spokesman said. "The apparent actions of the clinic employee, if accurate, are alarming."
