Israeli military uncovers Hamas command center

The Hamas terrorist group on Thursday said it will not release any more hostages until Israel agrees to end the war in the Gaza Strip. Israel proposed a temporary pause in fighting to secure the release of hostages during negotiations this week in Cairo, Egypt. Israel has maintained that it will not end the war until Hamas is dismantled, said Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen. Meanwhile, the United Nations on Thursday considered a resolution to push for an immediate humanitarian cease-fire in Gaza.

What is happening on the ground? The Israeli military on Wednesday said it found a tunnel network used by senior Hamas leaders under Gaza City. The Israel Defense Forces said the terrorist organization used the system to move weapons, supplies, and people through the region. Israel deployed thousands more troops to Gaza this week while increasing its strikes against Hamas targets.
