Israeli forces raid West Bank hospital, killing three militants
The Hamas-run Palestinian Health Ministry on Tuesday said Israeli agents disguised as medical workers and civilians entered the Ibn Sina Hospital in the West Bank town of Jenin. Surveillance video released by the ministry showed armed people entering the facility before they shot and killed three Palestinian men. Israeli military officials said the killed men were terrorists and were planning an attack. The raid was the first of its kind in years and Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir shared the footage on X.
Who were the three men who were killed? Hamas claimed one of the men belonged to its military wing, and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad militant group said the other two were members of its armed branch. One of the men was being treated at the hospital, hospital director Naji Nazzal told the AFP.
