Israel rescues 52-year-old father from Hamas terrorists

The Israel Defense Forces on Tuesday said it had rescued Qaid Farhan Alkadi who had been held hostage by Hamas since Oct. 7. He was in stable condition in a hospital on Tuesday, according to the IDF. Alkadi is a father of 11 children, according to The Hostages and Missing Families Forum, and was abducted from his workplace during the Hamas attack last year.

How many hostages are still in Gaza? More than 100 hostages are still in Gaza, according to Israeli officials. Hamas terrorists took more than 200 people hostage during the attack last year. Israeli forces last week retrieved the bodies of six hostages from the Khan Younis area of Gaza.
