ISIS retaliates with suicide attacks in Iraq

Islamic State (ISIS) extremists have killed at least 15 people in two separate attacks as Iraqi forces continue to close in on the group in Mosul. Seven female suicide bombers on Monday morning targeted Iraqi troops by hiding among fleeing civilians in Mosul’s Old City neighborhood. Multiple blasts killed one soldier and injured several others. Earlier Sunday, a suicide bomber dressed in a woman’s robe killed at least 14 people at a camp for displaced persons in Iraq’s western province of Anbar. Iraqi forces have engaged ISIS militants in Mosul in days of intense battle, and the terror group now controls less than a square mile of the city.
