ISIS leaders captured in Syrian raid

Iraqi forces working with U.S.-backed Syrian militias have captured five Islamic State militant leaders, dealing a “significant blow” to the terror group, according to a U.S. Army spokesman. President Donald Trump tweeted about the capture, calling the militants the group’s “five most wanted” leaders. Officials have not released any details about the raid or the militants’ identities. ISIS fighters maintain a thin but significant strip of territory inside Syria, along Iraq’s border. The U.S. coalition has supported Syrian Democratic Forces in their fight against the terror group.
