International Space X crew safely splashes down off Gulf Coast
The Space X Dragon landed in the water near Pensacola, Fla., early Tuesday morning, less than 24 hours after undocking from the International Space Station. The crew, made up of four members from the United States, Russia, Japan, and the European Space Agency, was in space for 199 days, or nearly six months.
What did they do while in space? While in space, the team performed hundreds of experiments, packed and unpacked supplies, and hosted the Axiom-3 crew for their commercial two-week visit. NASA said the crew was bringing time-sensitive research back to Earth.
