Hundreds of terrorists captured around Gaza hospitals, Israel says

The Israel Defense Forces on Monday said over the past day it had captured and eliminated Palestinian militants around the Shifa and Al-Amal hospitals in Gaza. On Sunday, IDF forces captured roughly 500 terrorists “affiliated with Hamas and Islamic Jihad” around the Shifa hospital. IDF spokesman and Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari on Sunday called the effort one of Israel’s “most successful operations since the start of the war.” The operation was not over yet, as even more Hamas and Islamic Jihad militants remained barricaded inside the hospital, Hagari said on Sunday.

What do Palestinians have to say about this? The Palestinian Red Crescent Society on Monday said that some of its medical personnel were wounded during an evacuation the previous day at the Al-Amal hospital. Israel has acknowledged ordering Gazans out of the area. It also claimed credit for eliminating roughly 10 militants in the area of Al-Amal.
