For unto us a child is born

“Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel” (Isaiah 7:14).

How incredible to think what it must have been like for the shepherds when the angel calmed their fears and proclaimed, “For behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord” (Luke 2:10-11, ESV).

We pray that your Christmas is a respite from the chaos of our times and that your home is enriched with warmth, comfort, and glad tidings as you celebrate the birth of the One in whom our hope resides.
