DNC hack exposes campaign data
The hacking attack on the Democratic National Committee (DNC) also compromised a computer system used by Hillary Clinton’s campaign. Campaign spokesman Nick Merrill disclosed Friday that hackers had reached into a DNC data analytics program the Clinton team uses. But Merrill said the campaign’s own internal computer network had not been breached. President Barack Obama and cybersecurity experts said Russia was almost certainly responsible for the DNC hack. The House Democratic campaign committee reported Friday that its information had been accessed, too.
