Deadly storms drench East Coast
Authorities in Massachusetts on Monday confirmed that one man died after high winds toppled a tree into a trailer. In Maine, another man died on Monday after part of a tree fell on him while he was trying to clear debris from his roof.
What have the storms looked like elsewhere? In South Carolina on Sunday, authorities rescued dozens of people stranded in flooded streets. More than 30,000 people across the Carolinas suffered from power outages during that afternoon, according to PowerOutage.us. Meanwhile, in some areas of North Carolina and Florida, the National Weather Service put other flood and coastal flood warnings in place.
