Clinton cancels California campaign event to rest
Hillary Clinton has cancelled several days of campaigning and is resting at home after being diagnosed on Friday with pneumonia and appearing to faint during a visit to Sunday’s 9/11 anniversary events in New York. Video of the event showed the Democratic presidential nominee staggering and slumping forward as she tried to get into a van at the end of the event. Earlier in the day, she told reporters she “felt great” and even walked to the memorial from her daughter’s apartment. During an interview on Fox News this morning, Donald Trump wished Clinton well. He was not so cordial earlier in the weekend, when he castigated Clinton for calling half his supporters a “basket of deplorables” during a campaign speech on Friday. Clinton said she regretted making such a broad generalization.
