Britain’s Princess Eugenie pregnant with third baby
Queen Elizabeth II’s granddaughter shared on Monday that she and her husband, marketing executive Jack Brooksbank, are expecting a third child. The baby is due over the summer, and King Charles III is delighted by the news, according to a separate Monday statement from Buckingham Palace. The couple’s other children, five-year-old August and two-year-old Ernest, are excited for another sibling to join the family, the palace reported.
Where does Eugenie fall in the Royal Family? She is a niece of the king and the younger daughter of Andrew Mountbatten Windsor and Sarah Ferguson. Charles stripped Andrew of his royal titles in October after Andrew was reportedly linked to convicted sex offender and alleged sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. Eugenie and her older sister, Beatrice, retained their titles despite their fathers’ title removal.
Mountbatten Windsor has been under investigation for misconduct. He has denied any wrongdoing in his acquaintance with Epstein.
