Brady bids farewell to Patriots
After 20 seasons and six Super Bowl titles in a New England Patriots uniform, Tom Brady is moving on. The 42-year-old superstar quarterback announced on social media Tuesday morning that his “football journey will take place elsewhere.”
Where is Brady headed? His contract with the Patriots expires Wednesday afternoon, freeing the four-time Super Bowl MVP to sign with another team. Brady could still re-up with New England, but his statement makes that sound unlikely: “I don’t know what my football future holds, but it is time for me to open a new stage for my life and my career.”
