Using DNA evidence, medical examiners have identified the 1,641st victim of the terror attack on the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001. The remains of about 1,100 people who died on 9/11 have yet to be identified, PIX11 in New York reported. The New York City medical examiner’s office continues to try to match DNA found in the rubble to samples provided by friends and family members. The last positive identification was announced in March 2015. Officials did not release the name of the most recent victim at the family’s request.
