MARY REICHARD, HOST: When the rock band KISS wraps up a concert in Australia next month…
AUDIO: Good night!
There’s something concertgoers will not hear.
They won’t hear the usual roar of a crowd.
That’s because there won’t be a crowd. Just eight fans and a bunch of sharks.
Yeah, you heard right: sharks. The band will perform an underwater concert next month.
The humans will listen from a submarine through underwater speakers. The rest of the audience? Well, great white sharks and other sea creatures.
Turns out, sharks are attracted to low frequencies and they like rock ’n roll.
The whole thing is part of a promotion called Animal Experiences. The proceeds will go to charity.
It’s The World and Everything in It.
