WORLD Radio - Kicker: Trashed treasure

MARY REICHARD, HOST: If you recently snatched a bed frame from the curb near Tufts University in Boston—thinking it was trash—you could be in for a big reward.

Turns out it was a family heirloom mistakenly left curbside—and the family wants it back.

Recent college grad Colin Trimmer has posted signs around the neighborhood saying “My mother will kill me” if he doesn’t retrieve the iron and brass frame.

Trimmer’s mother says the bed frame was one of the few things her grandmother had to leave to her grandchildren.

She says the reward for returning the frame would be sizable.

It’s The World and Everything in It.
