Kicker: Slow-speed chase

MEGAN BASHAM, HOST: High speed chases are not unheard of in major cities. But police in Denver embarked on a slow-speed chase last week.

A man accused of stealing a city-owned John Deere tractor attempted to evade law enforcement with farm equipment in tow.

A video posted to social media showed the green tractor swerving between traffic and the sidewalk with police in hot pursuit. Well, maybe lukewarm pursuit.

The tractor sideswiped several cars as it wound through downtown Denver.

One officer finally ended the chase by ramming the tractor head on. Two officers received treatment at a local hospital, but thankfully, no one was seriously hurt.
