MARY REICHARD, HOST: Talk about innovation in lawn mowing!
Neighbors in Idaho reported about a hundred goats loose on their lawns. The tribe chowed down on manicured gardens and shrubs, and just about anything in sight.
Soon, a couple named Matt and Kim Gabica drove up with a trailer. They own a land clearing service called We Rent Goats.
Kim told KTVB television the goats had been on the job at a local retention pond.
GABICA: And they managed to break the fence to go on a little adventure and meet the neighbors.
All the goats made it safely back to the job site.
This sort of thing doesn’t happen very often, she said. But…
GABICA: They’re very creative escape artists sometimes, and so just when you think you have all the containment figured out, they manage to find a new way that you didn’t think of. (laugh)
