WORLD Radio - Kicker: A well-behaved dog

MARY REICHARD, HOST: Being a good boy turned out to be bad news for a dog in Phoenix.

The yellow mutt’s name is Binx. And his adopting family returned him because he was just too good. He didn’t dig up the yard. He never tore the stuffing out of pillows. He was house trained. He was great with kids, and just an all-around fun, furry, friend.

But the family was looking for a dog that was more of a challenge. Apparently, there are lots of families like this. They specialize in taking in those harder-to-adopt pups. And good for them!

Happily, one-year-old Binx was soon adopted again and this time he is cozied up with his forever family.

It’s The World and Everything in It.
