MARY REICHARD, HOST: A suspicious-looking suitcase caught the attention of police at Gatwick Airport in London last week. Twenty-five small bags of powder inside it led officers to detain and question the owner.
Officers immediately ran tests on the powder.
No suspects were named, but if I had to guess, I would go with Sarah Lee and Betty Crocker.
That’s because the suspicious powder turned out to be delicious powder—cake ingredients for a vegan bakery.
The bags were reunited with the owner, who promised all involved a slice of cake in return!
Police later tweeted “Please label your foods and bring samples of cakes next time you visit.”
It’s The World and Everything in It.
