MEGAN BASHAM, HOST: A young man joins the army and gets a haircut.
Big deal, you say?
Well, for 23-year-old Reynaldo Arroyo it is.
Arroyo posted the video on Facebook:
ARROYO: Today we’re going to be cutting my hair. I moved out here from California, and I’m just really excited to be enlisting in the Army.
The last time Arroyo got a haircut George W. Bush was commander in chief and Arroyo was just 8 years old.
He’s been growing his hair for 15 years. It reaches down to his waist, but it’s all gone now. Well, most of it.
Arroyo plans to donate his hair to Locks of Love, a nonprofit that makes wigs for sick children who lose their hair during medical treatment.
Serving his country and donating to charity. Way to go, Reynaldo!
REICHARD: Bravo, Reynaldo!
BASHAM: It’s The World and Everything in It.
