In the saner parts of social media, there’s a video making the rounds showing a gay man, happily filmed by his partner, bouncing their purchased baby boy in the air. This child was transacted via surrogacy, and his mother was summarily dismissed. No longer needed by these two men. They got what they want.

The man bouncing the infant in the air is Shane McAnally, a four-time Grammy winner, country music star and record producer, who asks the child, “Who do you want, dada or pop?” The non-verbal infant clearly mouths “mama” numerous times which makes the two men giggle. McAnally corrects the child, explaining “No mama.” He repeats, “Do you want dada or pop?” hoping for a personally affirming answer. The child stares blankly, and the man repeats, “Who do you want?” The child mouths again, “mom.” McAnally informs him, “There is no mama” and baby starts to cry. The two men laugh and one explains “I am so sorry. You have dada and you have pop. Two choices. No mama.”

They then Instagram it to the world, who they are sure will love it as much as they do, affixing two different statements to their post reading “baby has 2 dads … chose neither” with a laughy face emoji and the question “who’s gonna tell him…” It is all good fun to these two wealthy gay men, and we are all supposed to laugh along with them. But most of us are rightfully horrified as we watch these two men film the catechizing of their infant child in gay family politics. It’s not cute, it’s evil.

Of course, this sweet child does not naturally know the word “mama.” Clearly, these men have not introduced that word into his vocabulary because the boy’s mother was dismissed on his birthday with stacks of cash. “Mama” for this baby boy was probably just babbling, but out of the mouth of babes.

What this child does know however, in the depths of his body and soul, is that he was, at birth, taken from the only person he ever knew, from the very mother who grew him, fed him, protected and nurtured him, and he was given to two strange men. In fact, the first interaction this newborn boy was instinctively seeking was the closeness of his mother’s skin and her comforting, enriching breast. Instead, he got two giggly men intent on redefining the most natural and ancient of human wonders.

Most states in the United States have strict laws preventing anyone from taking puppies or any wildlife from their mothers for prescribed periods of time, because the mother/child bonding process is essential for life and healthy development. This is even more true for humans who are so much more relationally complex. Every child has a fundamental need and right to his or her own mother and father, and they suffer in multiple ways when denied either. Virtual mountain ranges of social science findings have arrived over the last five decades documenting how peerless the married, biological natural family is to child well-being.

Gay desires come first, even before a child’s need and right to his or her own mother and father.

The beastly behavior of these two men does not end there. They continue using this sweet boy as their “gay family” Instagram prop in this post, highlighting their “6 week old homophobic baby.”

Who declares their child “homophobic”? But we are all supposed to laugh along. The video shows McAnally telling the infant, “You’re such a happy boy, cuz you have a bother, you have a sister, you have two puppies … and you have two dads.”

As if on cue, the smiling boy gives a disapproving look at the “two dads” statement. These men don’t miss this obvious shift, hence the worldwide viral joke that their child is “homophobic.” You see, it’s all about these two fabulous gay men, their peculiar sexuality, and the undoing of the natural family. Enlisting the kid is all fair play.

In another post honoring his own mother on Mother’s Day, McAnally wistfully notes, “The way my kids look at my mama is a gift I never anticipated about being a being parent.” Talk about saying the quiet part out loud!!

He loves his mother, not as a generic, non-sexed human being, but as a virtuously feminine mother and grandmother. And these bought-and-paid-for children that he parades before the world love her as a woman too. But this gay man is all too willing to deny these three children their own mothers because he sexually desires men. And all of this narcissistic “fun” he is having with this child, and the millions of self-affirming clicks he gets on social media, is built on this boy being intentionally denied his natural mother.

This is evil. And do not think it is rare.

OG gay family advocate Rosie O’Donnell was asked by Diane Sawyer in a 2002 ABC News interview if her young son Parker ever questions why he doesn’t have a dad. O’Donnell replied that he often does and told Sawyer she simply explains, “Because I’m the kind of mommy who wants another mommy.” Gay desires come first, even before a child’s need and right to his or her own mother and father.

Be sure of this: Same-sex marriage, and the 2015 Supreme Court decision that forced it upon every state in the union, was never about “marriage equality.” It was always about redefining and de-sexing the family, declaring male and female merely preferential, like chocolate or vanilla ice cream, depending on the queer sexual interests of adults. Children must adjust, and we are all expected to laugh as if it’s cute. It is not.

And now, ironically, the very people who are living out this pernicious social experiment upon children are the ones documenting its express evil on their personal social media feeds. The world should pay very close attention.
