Timothy is a reporter with the Des Moines Register, where he covers the city of Des Moines and county government. Timothy graduated from the University of North Carolina at Asheville in 2011 and promptly moved to Iowa to get married and pursue journalism. Since then he’s chased stories wading through rural flood waters, pedaling a bike across the entire state of Iowa, and following members of Westboro Baptist Church into their homes and picket lines.
