Ruth Bader Ginsburg doubles down on Trump criticism

The spat between Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump escalated this week when the longtime justice refused to retract her criticism of him. Legal experts expressed surprise at Ginsburg’s comments, uncharacteristic for a high court judge who might be called on to rule over a contested presidential election. But on Monday, Ginsburg offered no apology. She called Trump a “faker” with a loose tongue and no consistency. Trump hit back by saying the 83-year-old Ginsburg’s mind was “shot” and calling on her to resign.
