Black Sabbath was my first vinyl album purchase…the original heavy metal band. matched my total rebellious lifestyle. Ozzy Lived a rough life…made a lot of money…did it really matter?
Still like metal but the kind with lyrics that don’t lead to total despair… Stryper, Demon Hunter, August Burns Red, The Devil Wears Prada, Tourniquet, Living Sacrifice, Mortification, Skillet, and Norma Jean.
Being a senior citizen I can only take so much of it at a time but I definitely see a need for it to reach some of the subcultures untouched by a more tame evangelical approach.
I used to shun any young person who had so much jewelry that they looked like they fell face first into my fishing tackle box but have since realized that they need the love and forgiveness of our Messiah as much as I do.

I truly hope the self-proclaimed "Prince of Darkness" didn't meet the real Prince of Darkness and that he's not now "begging mercy for (his) sins" while "Satan, laughing, spreads his wings."
