There is a "burgeoning" field of security consultants out there ready to help all "houses of worship" deal with and or prevent your campus from becoming another Uvalde. Nearly all churches with policemen or women in attendance know those officers carry 24/7 365. No one is naive enough to install any type of "Gun Free Zone" signage at any church. Certainly not at any synagogue.
Anyone could go bonkers and shoot up a house of worship for any of a zillion reasons: Sermons too pro or too anti this or that, recently "let go" staff member, someone out to get violent at an ex, etc etc. Mental illness married up with any type of perceived grievance or violent extremist religious creed could literally unleash hell; it is truly a toxic brew. And Satan runs the brewery.
